three ways to get involved.

1. Barbell Republik:

Learn how to clean, jerk and snatch your way to improved strength and power while refining your form and technique. This Olympic lifting class is for everyone – beginners, intermediate and advanced.

These classes are lead by CrossFit Level II Coach and CrossFit Weightlifting Level II Coach, John Smeh. These classes are open to all of those with an UNLIMITED membership only. Class schedule varies per season.

2. Open Gym:

Open gym times are located on our schedule page. Open gym, does NOT have a structured class, but you are free to work on lifts during this time. There is always a coach available during open gym.

3. Blue Mountain Weight Lifting Club:

The Blue Mountain Weightlifting Club is an OWA registered club operating out of CrossFit Mozomo by Ken and Jill Miller. The Club typically trains OWA members 10:30 daily. (Programs operate seasonally so call or email for information).

Ken and Jill Miller:

Jill began her Weightlifting career in 1990 and has been many times World, Pan American and Canadian Champion in her weight and age class, Jill competes in the 65-69 Age group.

Jill is a NCCP Level 3 Coach, a Master Learning Facilitator and Evaluator for Olympic Weightlifting in Canada. 

Ken began Olympic Weightlifting in 1970 and has competed ever since. He is a many time Ontario champion and national level competitor. As a master lifter he has won silver and bronze at World Masters as well as many Pan American and Canadian Masters championships. Ken is a Certified NCCP weightlifting coach
